Terms of Service

Terms governing Paginor accounts, teacher-created content, student access codes, teacher subscriptions, and refund terms.

Last updated: April 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

This platform provides tools for creating, editing, publishing, and reading interactive books. Features may include a visual block editor, interactive exercises, vocabulary tools, a paginated book reader, publishing tools, student access codes, teacher-side access tracking, and PDF export.

Some features may be available for free today. We may add, remove, limit, or charge for features later as the service evolves.

3. Accounts

To create, publish, manage, or access certain parts of the platform, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for any activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Free Access and Teacher Subscriptions

Paginor may currently offer some or all features without charge. That does not mean any feature, plan, or access level will remain free forever.

We may introduce paid teacher subscriptions, plan limits, usage caps, or other fees at any time. If we do, applicable pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, and material conditions will be presented before you are charged.

We may also change existing pricing, plan limits, feature access, or eligibility rules in the future. Continued use of the service after those changes take effect means you accept the updated terms, except where additional consent is required by law.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the books, chapters, and other content you create on the platform. By uploading, storing, formatting, publishing, or otherwise making content available through the service, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and make that content available as needed to operate the service.

If you publish a book, you grant us permission to display and distribute that content through the platform's example pages, student libraries, access-code flows, and reader experience, including any related previews, metadata, and exported representations we provide through the service.

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains harmful, abusive, or illegal material
  • Violates the privacy rights of others
  • Contains malicious code or scripts

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose of creating and consuming educational content. You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts
  • Use the platform to distribute spam or unsolicited content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise automatically collect data from the platform

7. Intellectual Property

The platform itself, including its design, code, and branding, is our intellectual property. The educational content created by users belongs to the respective authors.

8. Availability and Service Changes

We strive to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including free features, storage limits, publishing rules, access rules, or paid offerings.

9. Student Access and Teacher-Student Payments

Students receive access through teacher invitations, class codes, access codes, or other access-management features. Access may be revoked, expire, or change based on teacher settings, plan limits, account standing, and continued availability of the service.

Teachers may use Paginor to keep manual records such as paid-through dates, next-due dates, notes, and external payment status. Paginor does not process, collect, escrow, guarantee, or enforce payments between teachers and students. Any payment arrangement between a teacher and a student happens outside Paginor and is the teacher's responsibility.

10. Teacher Billing, Refunds, and Cancellations

If paid teacher subscriptions or other Paginor-paid features are offered through the service, payments may be processed by Paddle or another payment provider. Where Paddle is used, Paddle may act as merchant of record for the transaction and may handle certain order-related payment functions.

Teacher subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel a subscription at any time through the billing portal or another method we make available. Unless we expressly state otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not guarantee prorated refunds for unused time.

Paginor does not currently sell teacher books to students and does not process student payments to teachers. Student access issues should be handled with the teacher who provided access.

To request a refund, contact us at datomaisuradze95@gmail.com and include your account email address, the billing date, the order or transaction ID if available, and a brief description of the issue. If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned to the original payment method.

If a payment is refunded, reversed, disputed, or charged back, we may suspend or remove access to the related subscription or feature.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

11. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, content, or damages arising from your use of the platform. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your content.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, misuse the service, create legal risk for us or others, or if continued access is no longer commercially or technically feasible. You may stop using the service at any time. Upon termination, we may remove or disable access to your content, account, or published books, subject to legal obligations and any rights that must continue under applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes may be communicated through the platform.
